This hospital-grade USB wall charger lets you quickly and safely charge a USB mobile device within a patient care area, including patient rooms, nursing stations and treatment rooms. Recommended for smartphones, tablets, MP3 players, e-readers and other USB devices, the lightweight Isolator™ medical-grade USB charger meets UL 60601-1 specifications.
Fast Charging for Patients, Visitors or Staff in Hospitals, Clinics and Other Medical Facilities
To charge your USB device, simply connect the U280-001-W2-HG to an AC outlet, and connect your device to the available USB-A port for 2.5A of charging power. The compact design allows for easy carrying in a backpack, purse, suitcase or laptop bag—ideal for visiting hours—or for connecting to an outlet located in a tight space, such as behind furniture. A mounting tab lets you permanently attach the charger to an outlet wall plate to prevent accidental disconnections.
Safe for Everyday Use in Your Home and Other “Wet” Environments
This USB charger provides 80 times the protection of a standard GFCI outlet, making it a recommended charger for locations where moisture can build, including swimming pools, gym areas, laundry rooms, bathrooms, patios and kitchens. The Isolator’s special shock risk-reduction technology protects patients, staff and other users against electrical shock. The U280-001-W2-HG also protects against overcharging and overheating that can lead to fires and damaged electronics.
