Tripp-Lite B126-1A1-PLHD HDMI Over Powerline Active Extender Kit

Now you can transmit picture-perfect high-definition audio/video signals to an HDMI television, monitor or projector up to 300 meters (984 feet) away without buying new cables, setting up a wireless network or hiring a professional installer. Just use the electrical wiring already available in your home, office or presentation space. Plug the transmitter into one wall outlet and the receiver into another with the included four-foot power cords. Be sure both outlets are on the same power circuit. Plug both units directly into the outlets and not an extension cord, power strip or surge protector.

 

This HDMI via Powerline kit is ideal for audio/video setups in which the source and display devices are in different rooms and wi-fi reception is either weak or unavailable. Connect the included infrared (IR) cables and user-provided HDMI cables (such as Tripp Lite’s P568-Series) to both the transmitter and receiver. You can connect a local HDMI display to the transmitter, as well as to the receiver. With no busy cabling infrastructure to clutter your application, you’re free to place your source and display devices where needed.

 

The IR cables let you control your source device with its remote (play, pause, fast forward, etc.), while you’re standing near the receiver located up to 300 meters away. As long as the transmitter’s IR bulb is within sight of the transmitter and the receiver’s IR bulb is in range of the source’s remote, the transmitter and receiver can be mounted out of sight to give the rooms a clean, professional look.

 

The B126-1A1-PLHD works right out of the box with no software or drivers required. Mounting hardware is included for installing the transmitter and receiver units on a wall or other flat surface. The kit supports high-definition video resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 (1080p) at 60 Hz with 24-bit Deep Color (8 bits per channel) and stereo audio. Front-panel LEDs indicate power, data transmission and connection status.
