Tripp-Lite PSCLAMP2 Medical Power Strip/Surge Protector

Safely attach a medical-grade power strip or surge protector to an IV pole, hospital bed, crash cart, mobile medical workstation, hospital bed rail, crib or anywhere else needing portable power. The PSCLAMP2’s drip shield protects outlets from falling liquids and other contaminants that could damage the power strip or connected equipment. A built-in cord management system keeps the power strip’s cabling organized and safely out of the way when not in use to reduce tripping hazards.

 

The mounting clamp is protected by a patented antimicrobial powder coating with EPA-registered and FDA-compliant silver ionic technology. The antimicrobial surface protection is 99.9 percent effective in inhibiting the growth of bacteria and reducing the risk of HAIs in hospitals and other medical environments. The coating meets the requirements of JIS Z 2801:2000, an international standard for evaluating efficacy in antimicrobial products.

 

All necessary hardware is included for mounting the lightweight aluminum PSCLAMP2 to pole diameters from .875 inches to 1.25 inches. It not only mounts Tripp Lite’s line of medical-grade power strips, but those of other brands as well, bringing power to areas where wall outlets are scarce or impractical. The clamp is designed to last within busy medical environments and stand up to heavy use.
