The CDF600-2 fieldbus module makes it possible to quickly and easily integrate identification sensors (1D, 2D, RFID) in industrial networks.. There are different versions with various fieldbus interfaces available. The external connection module can be mounted on all standard industrial profiles. The status LEDs provide diagnostics that are visible from both sides. The node address and CDF600-2 operating mode can be set directly on the module using rotary code switches without the use of configuration software. At the same time, the functional design offers protection against accidental adjustment of the node address. While the CDF600-2 can be integrated at an easily accessible point on the handling system, the identification sensor, e.g., the CLV615-F, which is connected with only one cable, can be mounted deep inside the system.
