Need a waterproof connection for your USB 3.0 application? L-com's in stock WPUSBCN-A-3 connectors are a perfect complement to our popular IP67 USB cable assemblies. Field terminate or modify your USB connections to create an IP67 rated, watertight seal. Solder connectors and a sealing nut that conforms to almost any USB cable diameter allows the user to make their own water and dust proof cable assemblies.
In addition, WPUSBCN-A-3 is panel mountable if desired and can mate with several of L-com’s series of male IP67 cable assemblies to create a permanent water proof connection. Gold contact plating provides reliable connections over repeated mating cycles. The sealing nut and gasket can accommodate cables in the range of 5 to 10.8mm accommodating a vast range of potential USB cables.
The WPUSBCN-A-3’s 13/16-28UN threads will mate with the following L-com waterproof USB cable series for a watertight seal: U3A00016, U3A00022 and U3A00023 as well as dust caps WPUSB-CVR and WPCVR-USB-1394.
