The IP68 rating keeps out water and dust for up to 60 minutes of immersion under 1.5 meters of water. These cables can be used with IP rated receptacles WBRJC6A-110 or WBRJC6A-FF for a watertight seal and also have an innovative design that can also mate with standard jacks. This eliminates the need to find specialized cables that are IP rated on one end and have a standard RJ45 on the other. This is accomplished by a special waterproof shroud that can be pulled back to mate with a standard RJ45 jack.

TRD695AWB-05M is double shielded and grounded for protection from data-destroying EMI and RFI interference. It is built with an overall braid shield around individually shielded twisted pairs.
