FEATURES
Designed to thermomechanically remove coatings from optical fibers with cladding, this adjustable thermal stripper is perfect for stripping extremely difficult or baked-on coatings with ease. This thermal stripper also features the following:
- Heater is adjustable up to 200°C, far hotter than any competing product
- Has the ability to remove some fluoroacrylate undercoatings using high temperature
- Adjustable temperature and time settings allow it to adapt to a wide range of acrylate coatings and cladding sizes
- Supports optical fibers with cladding diameters from 30 µm to 1000 µm, with buffer diameters up to 1200 µm, including 250 µm, 400 µm, and 900 µm coated fibers
- Compact and low-maintenance benchtop design makes this easy and convenient to use
- Supports Fitel, Fujikura, and Ericsson fiber holder platforms, and a Universal Clamp for LDF or any other type of fiber (each sold separately)
